Who's ready for some good news? I sure was. We have had two bids on the house so far and one person that wants to submit his bid in person tomorrow night. Plus since then(talking with the realtor) we have had two more calls from people that are going to show the house.
One of the bids is actually 10000 higher than what we listed so that is wonderful!
This weekend in the hotel has proved interesting. Rob has been going crazy because it's his worst nightmare to be idle. The dog was the funniest and most worrisome.
He wouldn't poop.
We took him out every two hours or so to make sure he had ample chance to go and he just wouldn't. He'd pee just fine but as far as the poo it was a no go.
And the worst part is we could tell he was hurting. He didn't eat his dinner right away last night and didn't eat his breakfast at all this morning. And if anyone knows Romie, they know that he will eat anything. Proof of this is when he hacked up a plastic wrapper of a cheese snack Saturday morning that I had left on the laptop table on Thursday night. That was when we started to worry that keeping all that stuff in him, he'd just start throwing up everywhere.
Luckily, Rob took him out this morning and he evacuated two days worth of poop. Rob said it filled two of the little poop bags we have to clean up after him. It was a relief to him I'm sure but it was to us as well. I guess I can understand his poop anxiety as he has gone in the same place for the last seven years but he has to get used to it if we are going to be moving to a new place.
The funniest thing was that the last two days he has been so anxious. Any time Rob or I got up to do something, he'd jump up and run to the door begging to go out. We'd take him and nothing would happen but he did this all the time. Today after he let loose with the poo he has done nothing but lay around and sleep. Rob and I keep cracking jokes about how exhausting it must be to clench for two days. Heh.
This diary will probably be shut down soon. Given that we are moving and we don't go to Vegas that much anymore, the name really isn't valid and I kind of like the idea of a new start in journaling as well as a new start in our lives. We'll see. I think about things like that all the time but rarely do them. Hmph.
Okay, time to go swimming now!!!
